It was all good until they started to MARK UP all the prime items? It doesn't even make sense? Prime customers are already paying an annual membership price of $99, PLUS $2.99 per checkout.

It is SUPER fishy, because they also removed the link to go direct to the seller listing page on taobao. I used to always do that to check the reviews. Now i can't even do that, and i think they removed it so we can't see how much the items actually are on taobao cus they mark up all the prime items.

So i copied the name of the item and searched on taobao. Item selling on taobao, $8.38 sgd without shipping. Same item on ezbuy prime, $11.45!? (pls see attached picture)

Another item, BUYFORME service on ezbuy states that it is $36. EZBUY PRIME price for that item is $46. Oh my god! (pls see attached picture too)

If you guys still MARK UP the price of the item, isn't it like us paying for shipping + EXTRA MEMBERSHIP!?!?! for what!!?!?!

ZZZ super pissed off. WILL NEVER SIGN UP FOR PRIME AGAIN.

P.S if you think maybe bulky items will be more worth it because the shipping fees will be hefty, i read some reviews about someone wanting to buy a bed and the price on ezbuy prime is $100+ more than the price on taobao itself. LOL

If you're thinking whether you should sign up for prime membership, please save the money and order directly from taobao. The discrepancy in price is lesser than shipping directly from taobao per item. PLUS the items get delivered directly to your doorstep for free.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Ezbuy Cons: Stupid customer service, Complaint to ezbuy not being properly taken care, Expensive items, Unethical.

Ezbuy changed the Prime membership privileges by remove Prime wish list, they are suppose to be a buying agent for consumer, now they only sell all mark up items which you can get from shopee or Lazada almost the same prices, not point joining the Prime membership any more.

Ugh same here. But I was stupid enough to get the $99 prime.

Didn't notice the hike in price until i was just browsing using incognito mode and realised the price i got the items for were more expensive, even up to $5+ smlj. The free agent fee is just a distraction.

I only read this after i joined the membership an hour ago! I compared the prices and indeed they are making more money.

They never update their currency exchange rate which they refer me to that is dated in May? Hello, now it is already August! I signed up for a year and i regret it terribly now!

Sucks! Customer service is rude and just keep pushing the matters aside and help cover their own ***

Hi all, If only I had done my research and google all the comments/ reviews received of that of ezbuy Msia, I won't have to engage myself with ezbuy Msia and going through headache now. I started googling now as I realise that I am actually not being demanding but indeed there is a lots of ppl filing complaint about this platform.

This is my comments after using their service and recently subscribed for their 6 months prime: (1) Some of the seller on ezbuy when they sell their product, it is basically in mandarin - so at times if you are mandarin illiterate, you have to use your imagination skill if you are ordering the right item. You are lucky if when u click on the mandarin description and the product image has been tagged correctly to the description in mandarin - if not, you need to reach out to ezbuy customer service for their assistance. (2) Some of their product eg. Flower pots does not come with measurement on h/w/etc.

So initially I thought I was being unreasonable for expecting that & just try their service. Some comes in selection of medium/ large size which basically does not mean anything to a normal consumer. So consumer is expected to use their imaginative skill what is large size, what is small size etc. (3) You are not allowed to interact directly with seller (some online platform outside allows that & the turnaround time is fast as response from seller is usually pretty prompt & u get to confirm the specifications of the item you're purchasing) but through ezbuy customer service.

(4) Interaction with ezbuy customer service is basically like talking to a piece of wall with standard response like please provide screenshot or url link of the issue. Once screenshot provided, to meet their response turnaround time they will continue to ask you the url link. So basically, you do not get the answer or response to your question but instead they drag their time to response. In other online merchant that I've used, the customer service will perform their own investigations by going through the customer account (not the payment details information though) i.e.

what he/ she ordered, delivery order info, or what is sitting in his/her cart. Imagine putting the customer through *** by asking him/her to attach all the screenshot of the problems & pasting the link by opening, copying, pasting the seller information from your ezbuy account. If you've bought 100 items from them, you probably will need to spend a week to open, copy and paste the seller link (as you cannot copy all 100 seller links all at once, it has to be done one at a time and each time expected to go through all the different account folder that you have e.g shipping info, cart, helpdesk etc) and respond to an uninteractive customer service operation team. (4) Now as a prime account holder, my first purchase looks reasonable and within my expectation with just RM8.8 shipping fee from China to Msia per transaction.

BUT during my second checkout, I realise every single item that I've added into my cart comes together with a domestic shipping fee. So I assume & presume that it doesn't apply to me as an international consumer which has already subscribed to the prime package. But during checkout somehow I realise that the amount am expected to pay is exorbitant e.g. the retail price through manual calculation is about RM600+ however their are charging me RM1000+ and another screen prior to paying is showing another amount.

So that was when I went to reach out to their customer service and was literally told to my surprise that I have to pay china domestic shipping fee from seller location to their Guangzhou warehouse. Errr, paying a small ornament shipping fee & if the seller office is in Guangzhou same location as the warehouse what am I paying for & I've seriously have no heard of transferring a small ornament through shipping service. By the way does shipping companies place one single transaction for you? I've heard of shipping consignment for bulk purchases but not from one single transaction from one single seller to a warehouse.

After the complain, my checkout amounts went back to normal @ within ecpectation but explanation given by their customer service team is very unprofessional & dodgy. (5) I have also encountered situation where my best deal item is missing from my cart because of waiting for follow up from customer service team. Selected cart item with significant sudden increase in price overnight. (6) I realise that they do not have cancellation/ refund options in their application.

Only helpdesk/ email/ livechat. So be prepared to speak to robotnoid & be prepared to be shut down without getting a real response. Do not expect their customer service to give you a call & close the issue off so that your concern can be addressed. With that kind of like service level, the issue is forever pending & of course I believe it when the customer service says that they've been receiving overwhelming request from customer that causes delay in response.

Am glad that I have not opted to purchase any large item like sofas etc because I really have no idea how to physically return back those item if they're faulty, defective etc with no proper procedure in place. I have not physically received the items that I've purchased first time & now I am holding back on my second intended purchases because of the headache & trouble that I am going through now (presales + during sales experience). I am very concerned now after reading all the negative reviews from most of the consumers. In my entire online purchases experience, this is the only time I've officially written a review, & v detailed & lengthy at that so I guess be warned when u're using ezbuy/ purchase their prime package.

Finger crossed that my first purchase is within expectation upon delivery & I do not have to deal with customer service anytime soon - true enough very exhausting platform & application. Aiyoh, review from their after sales service looks bad from the web.

Yes, after joining annual prime member, found this issue. They just play this game, thought all members do not realize this issue, for some prime items, exchange is about 3.7 something. After membership expired, will never use this horrible service.

100% agree, they find many ways to earn extra. It's exhausting using their service. Use it only if u have a lot of time to spare.

$, $, $, this is what the ezbuy management people can see now.First : lower exchange rate, second: mark up of prime items, third : increase of home delivery fee, forth : consolidate of prime shipment, fifth : selective order, order which has less value but high shipping fee will not be placed & say out of stock, what's next ?????Wondering how all the ezbuy management people can sleep peacefully with all those lies & cheating of innocent consumer ???
